Angelina Jolie's Infamous Leg

Angelina Jolie's appearance at the 2012 Oscars has become a legend. No, I'm not talking about how gorgeous her Versace dress was, or how effortlessly sexy she ALWAYS is. I'm talking about the LEG...yup. The leg. Her leg became more than just a trending topic on Twitter during the awards show, it earned the rights to its very own Twitter. Too much?
That's why I enjoy this picture FAR too much...
 Equally hilarious and disturbing...

Oscars 2012: The Best, The Worst, and The Confused.

One of my favorite things to talk about....fashion on the red carpet. And I sure had a lot to talk about this time!

BEST: Angelina Jolie in Versace. Have we ever seen Angelina look bad? But seriously... a) we know you have great legs and b) we see the slit, was it necessary to stick your leg out like that?

Best looking couple...ugh.

WORST: Anna Farris in Diane Von Furstenberg. This dress reminds me of a 60 year old jazz singer...I hate it.

BEST: Cameron Diaz in Gucci. The bottom of the dress is HEAVEN.

CONFUSED: Emma Stone in Giambattista Valli. I don't hate this gown, but she has had so many better dresses that I can't say I love it. The big bow around her neck is distracting, but her hair and makeup are perfection.

BEST: Esperanza Spalding. The gown is absolutely gorgeous.

BEST: Guiliana Rancic in Tony Ward. I am ALWAYS a fan of her on the red carpet...she never lets me down. I wish she had opted for a different hair style though, it is a bit severe.

BEST: Gwyneth Paltrow in Tom Ford. Can I be you?!

BEST: Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Muran. Jennifer Lopez will never go away...it's time to embrace her effortless sexiness.

BESTBESTBEST: Jessica Chastain in Alexander McQueen.

I. DIE.

BEST: Kelly Osborne. I have never hated any of Kelly Osborne's looks on the red carpet, but this dress looks fabulous on her. It fits her perfectly, and I love her hair with it - color and all!

CONFUSED: Kristen Wiig in J Mendel. I'm not confused by the look, just can't decide if I hate it or love it. I am .000000009 away from loving it, something is just off!

BEST: Livia Firth in Valentino. This dress is made of recycled polyester from plastic bottles. How cool is that?

BEST: Maria Menounos. I mean, she could pull of a potato-sack if she had to.

BEST: Meryl Streep in Lanvin. This dress is perfect on her.

BEST: Milla Jovovich in Elie Saab. The entire look is so coherent and glamorous.

CONFUSED: Natalie Portman in Dior. OK, so I will admit that I absolutely DESPISED this gown until I found out that it is from 1954. That is the only thing that makes it kind of alright. I am not a fan of the complete look though, the hair and jewelry kind of ages her.

BEST: Nina Garcia. So elegant and easy.

BEST: Rooney Mara in Givenchy. As much as I dislike the blunt bangs on anyone else, Rooney totally pulls it off and it looks great with her dress. Love.

CONFUSED: Sandra Bullock in Marchesa. I do LOVE this dress, but the top is not the most flattering on Sandra. So close to being a best dressed though.

CONFUSED: Sarah Hyland in Alberta Ferretti. She could have done SO much more for the Oscars. She looks beautiful, but this dress is much more appropriate for an older woman.

BEST: Shailene Woodley. I think this is a BIG move for such a young actress, but a big move done well. Shailene looks classy and timeless.

CONFUSED: Sherri Shepherd. Everything is dead on about this look, MINUS the black bra creeping through the sheer detailing on the chest. I am beyond confused as to how this wasn't caught prior to her walk on the red carpet...was it on purpose?

BEST: Viola Davis in Vera Wang. She is gorgeous, and her hair and makeup is perfect for the gown.

NYFW: Proenza Schouler

One of all-time favorite designers is Proenza Schouler. This collection is no exception. The structure of the garments are perfect, and I love the black and white pieces.

I need this outfit.

If I had all the money in the world, this jacket would be mine.

Not digging the Asian-influences, but I love the structure. What do you think?

NYFW: Meadham Kirchhoff

The makeup is so interesting.

Do you see the face in the fur?

Reminds me of a scene from Wicked.

SO cool.

I love when designers play with fashion.

NYFW: Marc Jacobs

I really have a love-hate relationship with this collection. It is Mad-hatter inspired, and the hats are completely throwing me off...some of the pieces are definitely wearable and interesting, but this definitely is not my favorite Marc Jacobs moment.

NYFW: Betsey Johnson

Betsey Johnson was my inspiration to go into fashion, and she continues to drive my love for fashion with her eccentric and over-the-top collections. This collection is no different, the colors and fabrics are phenomenal, and I LOVE the '60s inspiration.

Favorite look.

I need a long black duster coat.
